Risamar is a minority-owned and mission-driven consumer packaged goods company specializing in a variety of high-quality, ethically produced snacks, canned fruits and vegetables, and animal care products.Risamar primarily serves Hispanic/Latinx consumers who are seeking low cost, high-quality product alternatives to the big-box market leaders.When I joined Risamar as its Executive Director, I began observing the various functions within the company to hone in on the processes that could be made more cost-effective while still focusing on the communities and customers we serve. I focused on collecting and analyzing our customers’ buying patterns to ensure we were developing the right products to fit their needs as well as lining the shelves of stores they frequented the most.To ensure the success of the communities that relied on our products, I organized several donation events that focused on giving back to the local Miami community by providing high-quality food and supplied to families and children in need. In my 3 years, I have accomplished the following:- Created private label manufacturing operation for agricultural and animal health sectors, which netted a long-term manufacturing contract with the largest animal health product distributor in the United States- Integrated the marketing, operations, finance, and sales functions to allow for more collaboration and standardization throughout the enterprise- Implemented financial strategies that resulted in an increase in year-over-year revenue by 101% - Administered market-focused strategic plans to align budgets and resources with emerging priorities- Led the product development and deployment of a household and industrial cleaning product line for Hispanic/Latinx consumers seeking low-cost, large-format alternatives to market leaders

As the Senior Program Manager, I focused on the development and implementation of a Student-Athlete Development Program to ensure student-athletes were armed with the right education and tools to be successful post-graduation. - Assembled a Student-Athlete Development Program consisting of over 200 student-athletes and 11 intercollegiate teams- Designed and led modules focused on non-profit management, public health, and physical health - Facilitated Leadership in Sports & Recreation courses through 5 16-week semesters for over 100 undergraduate students- Orchestrated the placement of over 300 students into internship programs and post-graduate jobs within their field of study

I lived and worked in the Republic of Macedonia as a Community Development Associate with the United States Peace Corps for 2 years. To ensure my success and survival, I learned the local language and dedicated most of my time to establishing a strong rapport with the local community and building partnerships with non-profits, schools, and local organizations.By learning the local language, building relationships, and fully integrating within the local community, I was able to successfully secure several grants from the EU and USAID to design and implement programs that were focused on building a sense of community through developmental sports programs.Over the span of my 2 year experience in Macedonia, I accomplished the following:- Secured €200,000 grant from the European Union to implement over 2 years of program development in partnership with local NGOs and the Macedonian Agency for Youth and Sport- Developed and implemented the first-ever youth baseball league for over 250 local teenagers, which resulted in the formation of nationally recognized baseball leagues within local schools and communities- Collaborated with over 45 local organizations throughout the nation to secure 2 years of funding for developmental sports programs- Partnered with the Red Cross to recruit and manage over 46 youth volunteers and assist with volunteer retainment, business development, and job training- Spearheaded non-profit public health and sport development programs funded by USAID, Peace Corps, and a variety of local partners- Applied for and secured a grant through USAID focused on capacity building for rural youth organizations - Sought out support from local governments and businesses to provide 20% of total grant funding, which resulted in 100% funding from private and public entities
