Serves as a Chief, 92A Training Division and Course Manager; first level supervisor of a training and educational element within one of the largest training departments within the Quartermaster School, with full responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, reviewing, and evaluating activities of military and civilian training instructors in all assigned instructional areas of the 92A Advanced Individual Training (AIT) course. Directs and supervises implementation of changes in operations directed by Director and Deputy Director, Logistics Training Department. Keep the leadership informed of progress and/or problems arising during implementation. Performs a variety of administrative and technical duties in connection with basic and specialized phases of MOS training. Provides operational guidance to training development personnel, and is accountable for all training products/materials that support the assigned MOS. Represents the QM School on liaison visits to various Army Installations where instruction is presented to logistical personnel in accordance with pertinent Army Regulations. Monitors training programs at various installations and assists staff and faculty personnel with related academic problems. Scope of operations consists of three or more subordinate branches with a work force of military and civilian (contract) instructors/writers in grades GS-09 and GS-11.
