The Leader of Development Project Management (Dev PM's) is responsible for leading and developing a team Dev PM's of within the Software Development Department. A successful Leader of Dev PM's will coach PM's on how to guide Product Owners, Delivery Teams, and the organization on how to use Scrum/Traditional practices and values to delight customers. This individual will continuously look for and recommend ways to mature the Scrum/Traditional processes. RESPONSIBILITIESAssist PM's in coaching their Product Owners and Delivery Teams towards high performance, better Agile ways of working and removing, managing, and escalating impediments. When necessary, this will include assisting with scaling solutions for scaled modules/projects.Facilitate and lead multiple Agile/Traditional teams through their Team Events and through their journey to high performance and/or assist with spinning up new Agile teams before handing off to a long-term Scrum Master.Develop PM's through education and goal setting. Shadow PM's regularly and track, analyze, and review Scrum Master metrics. Provide support and feedback through regular One on Ones, IDP conversations, and Performance Reviews.Support the Scaled PM group by assisting with recruiting events, interviews, onboarding new PM's, PM placements, creating PM resources, hosting training opportunities, and leading Task Forces.Assist PM's in communicating with upper leadership and calling leaders to action when escalation of team impediments or buy-in for process changes is needed.Keep PM team synced and aware of Scaled PM group initiatives, educational focuses, and processes through regular PM Team Meetings.Collaborate with the PMO Trainers and leadership to define better Agile/Tradional ways of working and assist in implementing organizational change.
