During the largest storm of December 2014 I observed the drainage issues in action. In several locations, I realized that several strategically placed inlets could save the City the expense of piping and extensive curb and gutter installations. Soledad Regional Recharge Project: Design of storm drain pipes ranging from 36 to 72 inches and expansion of a detention basin in several locations in Soledad. Work included acquiring a new easement through a farm field which helped us avoid difficult utility conflicts on San Vicente Street.
