As the Service Parts Team Leader I am responsible for the growth and development of 30 highly motivated employees. This team is solely responsible for the assembly of all Stryker Medical's legacy products and the distribution of the entire global Service Parts business. Our team supports everyone from the individual customer up to large distribution centers. Our customers will service entire countries for their customers who own Stryker Medical products. Our business consists of over 12,500 SKU's and assemblies. This ranges from piece parts for current production items to options that have been obsolete for 20+ years. We stand behind the products we make and support our customers throughout the life of the product they buy.

Successfully managing 35 suppliers grossing over $20 million in scheduled inventory throughout three commodities.Increased component availability by over 30% throughout our PCBA portfolio the first five months.Saved Stryker supply chain ~$471k in 2015 through several different cost savings and cost avoidance's both direct and indirect. Maintained a strong relationship with my R&D/Supplier counterparts to develop a Last Time Buy component tracker that proactively managed the redesign of over 50 PCBA’s preventing “line downs” and wasted resources.Developed strong relationships with my customer base to increase the efficiency and communication of Stryker’s supply chain while decreasing costs through accurate on hand inventory.

Performed and organized extensive technical research on competitive products related to the Hazardous Waste Management portfolio through voice of customer, voice of sales, interviews, and examining product literature. Used my technical experience to help redefine the collaboration between marketing and R&D by executing technical projects as well as utilizing their talent through direct involvement during voice of customer and voice of sales. Conducted and organized over 100 hours of valuable voice of customer interviews in response to a product recall while supporting my team as the competitive product expert for thoracic drainage and chest tube systems.. ADDITIONAL PROJECTS – RECON POWER Built a competitive product analysis with over 70 total knee, total ankle, unicondylar, and trauma fracture systems highlighting the key components necessary for the successful development of our heavy duty hand piece attachments. Conducting in depth voice of sales and voice of customer. We currently have 19 reps, surgeons, nurses, and trauma specialists to ensure accurate sizing and placement of pins/K-wires relative to each procedure as well as different patient requirements.
