After I finished my Electrical Trade, I started my work career in the wine industry as a maintenance electrician looking after production and packaging equipment.Work involved fault finding and repairs, preventative maintenance, all the way to upgrades and retrofitting equipment with new control systems.I relocated to Central Australia to expand my career as the facilities controls specialist within the engineering team. My main responsibilities are based around ensuring uninterrupted supply of power and water to critical site loads. This is achieved through oversight of site utilities generation/distribution, scada and PLC system fault finding and process improvements, providing advanced technical support for the operations and maintenance team and creating and implementing safe operating procedures to ensure all works and operations are carried out to a high and safe standard.
