My duties also include acting as a licensed Law Enforcement Academy Instructor for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, representing the State of Missouri within the Association of State Uniform Crime Reporting Programs (ASUCRP), developing and tracking Missouri's UCR/NIBRS classroom training modules, and continually reviewing, drafting, and/or modifying state legislation concerning such topics as statistical data collection, domestic violence, human trafficking, concealed carry regulations, and misuse of protected criminal justice information. Additionally, I am the Editor-In-Chief of a quarterly criminal justice newsletter with over 1,200 practitioner/vendor subscriptions, as well as co-author the annual Crime in Missouri Report, Missouri Hate Crime Report, CJIS Annual Report, and several other technical specification/user manuals.
