Results oriented Consultant in the Employee Benefits department of Willis of Ohio, Inc. Willis is the third largest insurance and risk management intermediary in the world.• Focused on fundamentals of proactive consultative account management and strategic planning•Manage multiple clients’ health and welfare plans ranging from multi-state private companies to public sector and unions•Aid clients in resolving human resources issues including, but not limited to: Health Care Reform, compliance with Federal and State laws, compensation, FMLA, FSLA, GINA, HIPAA, ERISA, employee engagement, performance management, total rewards strategy, PTO, succession planning, 5500 filings, Health Care Reform, discrimination and absentee management•Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers/third party administrators with implementation and ongoing administration of health, life, dental, vision and disability insurance plans as well as commuter benefits, flexible spending accounts and voluntary benefits•Assist clients in developing and executing strategies for long term benefit and human resources objectives •Analyze offers from self-funded and fully insured insurance products, negotiate rates in order to provide valuable feedback and recommendations•Advise clients regarding benefit plan design, benchmarks, pricing, costs and discounts•Created and manage dependent eligibility verification audit practice for Willis nationally, which has generated over $3M in revenue since inception (manage staff of 2 – 6 employees)•Spearhead employee communication projects including benefit booklets, total compensation statements, employee meetings, employee surveys and web casts•Assist clients in developing wellness plans and initiatives•Provide quarterly reporting on claim activity, disease management and utilization•Act on the 2012 Willis National Client Service Advisory Council

• Review employee pension calculations and payouts• Manage data reconciliations and pension valuations• Handle escalated employee questions and concerns• Project Management including cash-outs, PBGC audits, 401k vendor transition, etc.
