Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I have a professional background in education, clerical work, customer service, and retail styling. I currently teach for Henderson County Schools and I was an associate at Forever 21 for over three years. Art has always been my passion, chiefly music and fashion. I also love history, particularly art history. I love thrifting and creating things.Basics: Mac/Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, typing, spreadsheets, oral and written proficiency, data entry, professional organizational skills, time management, schedulingI consider myself to be a team player, but especially enjoy and excel at working one on one with customers to meet their needs.Building relationships and rapport with someone to help them enjoy their experience has always come easily to me throughout years of working with people.Communicating my thoughts and feelings effectively and kindly has always been important to me.Writing eloquently is a skill I try to nurture and exercise outside of work.My communication skills have been refined and tested by teaching in my local school system while working one-on-one and in small groups with students.Specializing in students with behavioral issues and Special Ed, I find myself to be very patient, compassionate, and methodical when approaching an opportunity to help others, no matter the context.Although I enjoy alone time and working one-on-one, many who know me and have worked with me consider me to be a personable and outgoing individual.I’ve always become friends with most coworkers. Shying away from conversation and being fearful of putting myself out there have never been issues for me, even in front of large audiences.I never feel intimidated when asking questions if I find myself lacking any knowledge I need to be my best.I believe I have a lust for life and an eclectic lifestyle, which often helps me relate to others and vice versa.
