About Kyle Cunningham

Kyle Cunningham grew up in Las Vegas and attended Las Vegas area schools before graduating from UNLV. He spent 7 years in quick service restaurants culiminating with a leadership role at Yum Brands including KFC and A&W here in Las Vegas. Then proceeded to spend 15 years in real estate property management and residential/commercial sales and leasing. After traveling to many countries around the world, Kyle saw a need for an upscale sophisticated coffee experienced focused on quality and great guest service in our city. From those experiences, he founded The Coffee Class in 2019 and built a team of professional chefs, expert baristas and best in class leadership to grow the company to two locations in 2022 and a third location (and new concept) in Almond & Oat in 2023. Kyle enjoys entrepreneurship, mentorship, self improvement, reading, and most importantly great food and experiencing new cultures and ideas.

    I was a Restaurant General Manager for KFC. I was promoted from a base team member up to the position of a general manager of one of the busiest and highest profile restaurants in our region. My last assignment was also as a regional training manager. I taught new recruits the rules of the road in a weekly orientation training course. My last role at KFC was manager of over 35 employees, a team of managers, and volume mixed with A&W All American Food. This created a complicated mix of customers and a large sales volume. I also had the honor of being the store which hosted the regional manager's office! I honed an incredible level of leadership ability and drive for success at KFC. Those were years well spent learning how to work with people, manage a payroll, manage product, manage conflicts, manage subordinates, manage managers, and satisfy customers.
