I taught 1-on-1 lessons online to K-12 students on various STEM and game-related topics, including Unity and C#, Python, and Minecraft Game Design. I developed my own curriculum based on my personal and professional experience, combined with existing material and guidelines provided by iD Tech. I also ensured that lessons are individualized to students and accommodate their needs, interests, learning styles, and general pace in class.

I used Angular Material, HTML/CSS, and Javascript to establish a design standard for my team's web application SPARTAN, defining "best practices" for implementing dialogs, tables, and other interactive elements. I also aided our backend developers by using REST APIs to connect functioning database interactions with the front end of the application. I also read up on the Django ORM and wrote my own Python + Django code as the need arose.

Continuing my work at the Emerging Analytics Center, my responsibilities included performing research with VR/AR platforms such as the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and the CAVE system, developing applications for these platforms, and providing demonstrations of our facility and its capabilities.

As a research intern, my primary responsibility was to develop a Unity application to simulate different camera positions/rotations for a prototype AR headset. I also worked with lens simulation and real-time raytracing, and collaborated with other Microsoft employees on multiple titles to demonstrate the headset's capabilities. In addition to my intern work, I also developed avatar-based minigames with other employees as part of Microsoft's Hackathon 2019 event.
