As part of the on-field baseball coaching staff, I assisted in daily baseball operations pertaining to player development and skills training. My focus was working with Division l NCAA pitchers to enhance their performance while maintaining strength and health. My responsibilities included but not limited to: pitching practice organization, bullpen routines, skill acquistion, mental skills training, mentoring, interpersonal relationship building. I was trained on and have experience utilizing the team's video and statistical softwares (Synergy Sports, and TrackMan).

A reliable student assistant in the Strength and Conditioning department with a great work ethic and someone who is not afraid of waking up early and be on time. This job will entail lifting and moving weights up to 75 pounds, standing for long duration of time, being vocal, having strong leadership qualities, clean and maintain lifting equipment, set up and breakdown of equipment used for athletes and work sporadic hours determined by class schedule. This position offered 20 hours per week of work. In addition to having a basic knowledge of lifting/exercise techniques such as the squat, clean and bench press.

I learned how to contribute to an organization bigger than myself. I learned what commitment looks like and developing yourself not solely as a ballplayer, but overall as a person. I still have that competitive drive within me and my dedication to my craft has transferred from playing on the diamond into my occupations and higher education.
