I have both volunteered and been employed in veterinary clinics for 5 years, striving in each of said roles. I have competently worked with teams during important and meaningful work such as surgeries and patient diagnostics, while also working individually to support the clinic in any way possible. I am proficient with the veterinary software Avimark, am able to draw blood, restrain patients using the proper techniques, and possess a multitude of other skills respective to a veterinary assistant. I am both experienced in and enjoy problem solving, and communication is a skill I am quite proficient in. I have worked in AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited clinics and have taken up a major role in preparing for and passing said audit. I am an individual who has an attention to detail, a passion for the veterinary industry and strives for greatness and advancement in my positions. I am currently a third year undergraduate student in biological science, however I am aspiring to be a veterinary student and eventually work as a full-time veterinarian.
