Grant Manager
CurrentDevelops grant budget proposals, monitors and accurately maintains the financial status of each grant project, and forecasts cash requirements, cash flow, and spending rates.Plans, organizes, and coordinates the centralized accounting, financial, and program outcome reporting for assigned grant portfolio, including preparing annual and project budgets, forecasting revenue, and estimating any carry-over of funds from one year to the next.Upon award of a grant, reviews all requirements of the funding agency and establishes any necessary compliance procedures to ensure accurate data collection during the grant term.Assists with drafting new grant applications/proposals and helps with coordination of all necessary documents for timely submission.Assists in compiling year-end reports, work papers and analysis necessary for the District's auditors to complete any required audit of the District's grants.Coordinates with key personnel at all levels of the District to support proper and timely expenditure of grant funds in compliance with applicable guidelines and budget deadlines.Prepares applicable fiscal reports for assigned grant programs and ensures the timely submission thereof.Maintains a working knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations, including Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) and 2 CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and ensures District's compliance with the same.Works extensively with grant program staff and managers in other departments throughout the District.
