Work with and report to the Director of Campus Recreation at the University at New Haven to create, oversee, and help approve the marketing materials used to brand and advertise the Department in a uniform style, in this newly established position. Additionally, I worked with the Department's Assistant Directors to ensure all events they planned were properly advertised to the Campus Community through the internal campus outlets and social media platforms. In preparation for the Fall 2018 Semester I helped to inspect, setup, and provide storage recommendations for the newly purchased photography equipment. Furthermore I helped to develop and define the responsibilities of the various Creative Team roles, including the Creative Team Lead to helped setup the Creative Team for current and future success. This was done through weekly meetings with the Creative Team and Director, which is also when I would schedule and manage the shifts for the Creative Team. Finally, I also maintained my role as a photographer, attending home sport competitions, tournaments, and other Department sponsored events.

In this position I had to plan and run the Executive Board and general club meetings, as well as arrange meeting with the club’s adviser to discuss events and ideas to engage members. I worked with the other members of the Executive Board to plan club events for both the club members and the campus community. Additionally, I served as the head of Marine Week Committee and worked with the Executive Board and a small committee of club members to plan Marine Week, a large on campus event. To execute Marine Week, I worked with University faculty and staff to plan daily events that promote different aspects of the marine world and conservation. Some of the activities required negotiating and contracting outside vendors. Furthermore I worked with the club's Treasurer to oversee and manage a budget in excess of $30,000. Previous to becoming the President, I also served as the Vice President, Sergeant at Arms, and Constitution and Charity Committee Head.

Assisted in the collection of water samples from the discharge towers at a power plant in West Haverstraw, NY, using a large vacuum pump sampling method. Additionally, helped with the construction and breakdown of the equipment and on-site lab facilities

Worked as a member of team at the Highway Department, primarily assisting with maintaining and repairing the roadways within the Town of Wallkill. Additionally, I helped with directing and flagging traffic in work zones after being trained in Work Zone Safety through the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA). Throughout the course of my employment I drove the Town pick-up trucks and mason dump pick-up trucks to transport equipment and drive to work zones. Furthermore I used maintenance equipment such as sickle-bars, weed-whackers, chain saws, plate compactor, and other equipment common to road work and lawn maintenance.
