I have currently been working for a company called CheckdMedia, who are one of the UK’s fastest growing sports media businesses with a portfolio of owned and operated brands - including Footy Accumulators, The Winners Enclosure and Oddschanger.My role is key to the development of The Winners Enclosure brand, who are one of the UK’s largest digital horse racing betting brands and my daily activities include working as part of a team to grow all areas of audience and revenues, from web to app to social media platforms.I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Physical Education and have since held roles within Customer Service and have had a strong background in Education, prior to working within my current role.I have always held a strong interest for sport, playing Football mainly at semi-professional level for teams such as Stalybridge Celtic F.C Reserves and I have played other sports such as Basketball and Golf to mention a few more socially. I feel as I have always had a strong passion for Sport and have worked within several Physical Education teaching environments as a consequence, my teamwork and communication skills have developed vastly, likewise my competitiveness and work ethic. I enjoy motivating individuals to get the best out of a persons skill-set and ability, which I feel is an invaluable skill to carry forward into any workplace.In addition to what I have mentioned above, I worked for three months at an American Summer Camp, where I would be required to teach Sporting activities from day-to-day, and I completed my ASA Level 1 Swimming Assistant and Lifeguard qualifications with the American Red Cross prior to starting in that role. These experience have not only developed my confidence and ability to coach and motivate individuals to improve their own personal performance, but I have developed my creativity and ability to adapt to various working environments.
