With over 18 years of work experience in procurement and contracts management, I am a skilled and passionate leader who strives to deliver value, quality, and innovation in the transportation sector. I have a strong background in finance, project planning, and team building, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders and partners to achieve shared goals and outcomes. As the Sr. Manager, Procurement and Contracts at Port of Seattle, I oversee the procurement and administration of construction, and Innovative contracts for the airport, seaport, and maritime divisions.In my current role, I manage a multidisciplinary unit of 21 staff members, who provide full-service procurement support for various projects and programs. I am responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing best practices, policies, and procedures for effective and efficient contract management. I also lead the negotiation, execution, and monitoring of complex and high-value contracts. Some of the key projects that I have been involved in include the North Satellite Modernization, the International Arrivals Facility, and the Terminal 5 Improvements. Through my work, I have demonstrated my ability to deliver results, solve problems, and drive innovation in the procurement and contracts field.
