Project related duties include improving, coordinating and maintaining Fuller Austin’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System on the Kitimat Modernization Project. These activities include assessing the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System for compliance with Provincial Legislation and Client Health and Safety Management System; developing and conducting training programs; auditing the program to verify its implementation and effectiveness; maintaining corporate safety statistics; and assisting the HSE Manager in the implementation of the program. Attend supervisory pre-shift meetings. Attend and assist Supervisor’s pre-task toolbox meetings. Post and review with crew all site safety alerts and revisions. Provide site specific orientations and any required safety training. Act as a resource for workers and management. Investigate/report incidents and develop / implement any corrective actions. Assist in hazard identification and field documentation. Complete site safety inspections at regular intervals.

On Canada's first LNG facility we, as a management company are tasked with ensuring continuity with client and subcontractor. As a part of the HSE team, we handle the day to day dealings regarding health safety and environmental concerns on the project.
