Working as an attraction host in Tomorrowland at Autopia. Responsible for guest and cast safety while in the attraction and making sure the guests have a fun and entertaining time. Guest interactions and problem solving are a very important part of the role.

Lowe's is a large home improvement store with many options for people looking to do small home projects all the way up to contractors building an entire house. My job for Lowe's was to assemble various items that customers purchased; such as grills, patio furniture, and lawn mowers. This position really helped me learn how to manage my time and plan out how I was going to tackle everything that needed to get done in a given day.

Worked at Goofy's Candy Company as an Lab Assistant and Lab Inventor. While working on the assistant side (shop) I would help guests find what they were looking for and provide them with excellent guest service. The inventor side (kitchen) consisted of creating products such as caramel apples and candy covered crispy treats. I also was able to participate in some Engineering events and learning opportunities.

As a weekend team associate it was my job to support my coworkers whenever they needed extra help within their department. This means I got to know a lot about each department and would learn new things about products from customers and those that I worked with. I also would help with appliance deliveries which gave me a look at the logistics of planning out the most efficient way to make the stops and valuable customer service skills.

I worked in the assembly department for Lowe's where we focused on assembling items that customers had bought such as grills, patio furniture, and lawn mowers. The summer is a very busy time for all of those items which meant that we would have 100+ items to be assembled each week. We had to be diligent about keeping everything organized and knowing where each item would be going once it was done.

DEEM is a Mechanical contractor that I was a summer intern for. I started my summer in the office learning what bidding for a project entails. I then got the chance to gain field experience at various construction sites. It was here that I learned how to hang duct work, run supply and drain lines, as well as installing electrical fixtures. They also afforded me the opportunity to ride along with service technicians to see what it takes to maintain HVAC systems after they are installed.

As a student worker for Purdue University I worked with the custodial and maintenance staff for one of the dorms on campus. The first task of the summer was to clean out all of the dorm rooms once the students had moved out. Once that was done it was time to work on various projects such as; touching up paint, repairing broken a/c units, and buffing floors. This all taught me that teamwork is very important for accomplishing goals.
