Colleagues describe him as "In late 2021, I had the opportunity to become a supervisor/manager for the first time in my professional career. My first direct report was Kyle Everett. He was hired into our Engineering group to help us implement a new Manufacturing Execution System (MES), as part of the Waters Taunton Expansion project. This plant expansion was an absolute behemoth of a project (certainly the biggest of its kind that I’ll ever be a part of), and the task was daunting. The MES represented Waters’ first foray into the connected world of Industry 4.0 automation, and to achieve our vision of a paperless plant, there was so much to learn, so many problems to solve, so many people/departments to appease, and just so much work to do under a very aggressive schedule. To say that Kyle was a pleasure to work with would be an understatement. He hit the ground running and never stopped while I was his manager for nearly 3 years. He quickly became an expert and really delivered, well beyond expectations. Despite the never-ending pressure to meet schedule and production demands, Kyle remained calm, kind, patient, professional and always willing to help out and troubleshoot however he could. He made my job easy! When I parted ways with Waters just a few weeks ago, the hardest part was leaving the great team we had built there, which Kyle was an absolute critical part of.
