Responsible for planning, coordinating, and synchronizing all non-rotational events for two battalions, eleven task forces, and multiple support agencies. Primarily focused on orders development and publication, and staff coordination and synchronization. Oversees the completion of all tasks, and consolidates and creates unit bi-weekly situational report to the installation commander. Coordinates with outside agencies and units for operational support. Acts as special projects coordinator for select command-level events.

Team leaders of a 14-man OCT team that observes, coaches and trains heavy weapon companies while conducting advanced collective training at the Joint Readiness Training Center; conducts company level After Action Reviews (AAR); coaches, teaches and mentors rotational training units (RTU) leadership and Soldiers on operation in the Contemporary Operational Environment.

Company Commander of a 131-member staff, responsible for global deployment within 36-hour notification. Directly accountable for $10 million of government property. Director of a 24 hour Operations Center that monitored the security of a 18km base perimeter and 50 sq km area of responsibility. Incorporated multiple UAV feeds, ground sensors, security camera, 18 separately man towers, mobile response teams, and intelligence information. Planned, coordinated, and led a multi-national US, Czech, Polish, and Afghan force that enabled the safe visit of the President of the United States to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Chief logistics officer for 694-person Stryker equipped Infantry Battalion. Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising logistical support system. Managed procurement and served as the financial analyst and budget manager. Projected costs for fiscal year training and administered $1.7M budget. Managed all logistical operations and successfully coordinated the reconditioning and validation of all equipment after a 12-month deployment. Oversaw 14 financial liability investigations; re-established accountability of government property and recouped costs of over $2M on behalf of taxpayers. Identified a need and initiated the creation of new training programs on administrative, logistical and maintenance systems to mentor new promoted company Executive Officers; established systems during a significant leadership transition.

Second in command of 171-person Stryker equipped infantry company. Responsible for the logistics of the company. Supervised maintenance and accountability of equipment valued in excess of $150M. Directly led 40 Soldiers in the company headquarters. Oversaw construction of FOB Khenjakak, capable of supporting battalion; oversaw planning, resourcing, timeline and security during month long construction. Managed the fielding of DVH Stryker vehicles, supervising process of maintained, accountability and turn in of legacy vehicles and simultaneous testing, inspection and receipt of new fleet. Increased survive-ability of new fleet dramatically improved ongoing operations and saved soldiers’ lives. Led logistic operations to support over 200 soldiers across four austere locations. Tracked consumption and projected resource needs at each location enabling efficient resupply operations. Supervised maintenance of 24 vehicles prioritizing efforts of army mechanics and contractor specialists. Maintained an operational readiness rate of over 90% at all times. Created and enforced effective maintenance, re-supply and logistics programs and procedures resulting in accountability and care of 100% of unit equipment. Served as company commander for one month during combat operations.

Led a 45-person rifle platoon capable of worldwide deployment within 96 hours. Responsible for training and tactical employment of the platoon. Planed and executed seven small arms ranges, two collective live-fire exercises and Stryker gunnery. Selected to lead a platoon of newly arriving soldiers and incorporate them into the company. Maintained 100% accountability and serviceability of over $12M in equipment during a period of rapid personnel turnover. Attended and graduated from the Mountain Warfare Orientation Course and Cold Weather Leaders Course, applying infantry tactics and leadership skills in mountain and glacial terrain in the Arctic.
