Kyle was named CEO of Life Equals to lead the team towards developing Life Equals as a dynamic company built on innovative and purely honest, simple living. The company’s founders, Kyle FitzGerald and Chris Thowe, are committed to fixing The Standard American Diet through their creation of Balance the Superfood Shot, a first-to-market product that provides half a day’s serving of organic fruits and vegetables. Life Equals empowers individuals to live healthier, more balanced lives in the hopes to positively transform how they eat, live, and love, which is what the company believes is a formula that will change society as a whole.As Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Kyle's role is to define and guide the strategic vision, build the company culture and implement strategic financing. Since the company’s founding, Kyle and his Co-Founder Chris Thowe and have built the team from initial ideation to a team of six full-time and 20 part-time team members. Kyle has assembled an advisory team that includes executives from Anheuser-Busch InBev, Red Bull, 5-Hour ENERGY, Boulder Brands, Mars and Walmart. He oversees and manages product development, supplier and co-packer relationship building and international importing/sourcing.

Kyle co-founded Life Equals in Kansas City and was central to the early brand development. He helped grow the brand from a single product with no distribution or online presence to a full line offered by Whole Foods Market, HyVee grocers and national online sales via LifeEquals.com. Kyle built the brand around the founders' belief in the power of paying it forward and not only bringing health to their customers, but making the world a better place. From the very first sale, Life Equals has donated a children's multivitamin to malnourished children worldwide through their partnership with Vitamin Angels.

As a Landscape Architect I managed projects from acquisition through construction administration. The pipeline for most of the projects was through a municipality sponsored RFP or existing clients and referrals. I developed a scope of services and fee proposal for the client and then lead them through the design process: site inventory & analysis, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, cost estimation, construction documents, contact bidding and construction administration. Practically that involved face time with clients, hand rendering, CADD drafting, 3D modeling, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
