I have been an engineer at Metal Impact since 1992, and Engineering Manager since 2008. I am responsible for the manufacture of aluminum components for the automotive, military, medical and commercial industries. Metal Impact uses the impact extrusion process along with various secondary processes to produce parts/components to the various industries. As the manager, I supervise engineers and tool makers. My team and I create the process and controls, design the tooling, and supervise the production of the parts. I lead teams in APQP,8D, and lean activities. We are TS16949 and ISO9001 certified. I was the QM and management rep during our initial certification in 2011 and again in 2014 for our recertification,
