Managing certification and qualification test labs and lab personnel for airplane interior products at Safran Cabin. Test labs include Flammability/Fire Properties Lab, Static Test Lab, Environmental/Electrical/Systems test, Refrigeration and Wall Temperature Lab, Materials and Processes Lab, and Endurance Test (Life Cycle).

Leading the Cycle Test Lab at Safran Cabin, managing testing campaigns, designing and programming robotic test fixtures for cyclical actuation, qualification and certification of aircraft interior components.

• Working with a team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and industrial designers to design, prototype, and manufacture aircraft interior products, including luggage bins, lavatories, andgalleys.• Using CATIA V5 and AutoCAD to design plastic, composite, and metal parts for manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, machining, vacuum forming, composite crushed core,and composite layup.• Acting as a liaison between the sales/marketing, industrial design, and mock-up groups for C&D Zodiac, an aircraft-cabin interiors company.• Conducting customer and market research, such as competitive product dissection, prototype usage analysis, and iterative conceptualization.• Aiding the sales team with cost and weight approximations and analyses for projects in the bidding process.• Working directly with industrial designers to build CATIA models of concepts for prototyping and production.

• Worked with interdisciplinary teams in the Blue Sky Studio (creative) and Ride Engineering departments to develop new concepts for theme park attractions.• Directed and participated in brainstorming sessions for ideation of targeted and untargeted theme park experiences.• Used SolidWorks to design and prototype unique, themed-attraction vehicles and systems.• Used SolidWorks Motion to simulate and analyze the kinematics of new attraction systems.• Developed stories and storyboard sketches for attraction concepts.• Contributed to a diverse team of professionals to brainstorm and develop products and experiences for Disney theme parks that incorporate creativity, innovation, and technology.
