I am an Industrial and Systems Engineering graduate with training in Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and optimization. I have been promoted to leadership positions in all previous work environments that stress teamwork, safety, and quality control.I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University with a Minor in Mathematics. My senior year, my team was awarded 1st place in the Texas A&M Capstone Project Competition for all Senior Industrial Engineers. The Project was sponsored by UPS with a goal in minimizing cost of distribution while all distribution centers operate below capacity. It included a complete redistribution of zip code boundary assignments for 13 distribution centers and an analysis of optimum location of a 14th distribution center if deemed necessary. Annual savings of $180,000 per year and established location and date needed for the 14th distribution center which added an extra $60,000 in savings resulted in the 1st place prize.I worked my way through college in restaurants, showing leadership qualities that resulted in being moved to head server, bartender and trainer. Since graduating, I have developed my customer relation and acquisition skills from being multiple time sales man of the month of a large car dealership containing over 500 vehicles and over 20 Sales Associates.I am now a Manufacturing Engineer at Ellwood Machine and Welding in the process of obtaining a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification. I work along side a team of Programmers and Drafters, to ensure we meet customers demands in quality and production. This has developed my skills in design, drafting, finite element analysis, and analysis of process flow. I look forward to continuously develop myself as a person and professionally.
