This sponsored design project gave a small group of students and I the opportunity space to develop solutions for Vermeer to improve the serviceability of their machines.My contributions included: • conducting stakeholder conferences• identifying opportunities for improvement with current products• analyzing client needs to develop a harmonious design process• applying graphic design proficiency to produce professional presentation materials subsequently presented to senior management

This sponsored design project provided a group of students and I the opportunity space to develop products for United Sports Brands to introduce new lines of merchandise for their NATHAN sub-brand. My responsibilities included: • conducting a variety of demographic research • producing high fidelity concept sketches and prototype models• developing exciting brand identity options• applying graphic design proficiency to produce professional presentation materials subsequently presented to product development team

After completing the first year of design core classes at Iowa State, I volunteered as a mentor for the subsequent year's drawing fundamentals classes.My responsibilities included:• providing individualized feedback and guidance to first-year students• collaborating with the instructor to produce project briefs• contributing innovative ideas for future projects in weekly discussions
