Geospatial Analyst
CurrentFeature Data:• Worked in support of US ARMY EUCOM on the Strong Europe Enterprise Freedom of Movement (SEEFAR) effort, starting in the early stages of the project and helping to develop successful workflows and processes.• Translated geospatial datasets from multiple schema types (including TDS, MGCP, and VMAP) into the Ground-Warfighter Geospatial Data Model (GGDM) by creating custom translation tables.• Conflated geospatial datasets from multiple sources using proprietary Wildcat software tools.• Leveraged NGA’s GAIT software to assess topological validity of conflated datasets, and performed topology fixes and quality control reviews accordingly.• Developed, reviewed, and tested Python tools in support of conflation and topology adjustment processes. • Acted as deputy technical lead, including coordinating other team members and dialoguing with clients.• Developed training content, including writing and editing Standard Operating Procedure documents and producing video content using Camtasia. Lidar Data:• Performed final quality control on outgoing lidar data for a seven person team. • Processed and archived lidar data for the NGA. Generated and matched flight-lines, manipulated point clouds, outputted collection areas, and added metadata fields, using primarily TerraScan and QTModeler software. • Managed team SharePoint site and project tracking database.
