Reed in Partnership is a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services.The main purpose of the role is to support unemployed jobseekers (our participants) with finding and sustaining employment, engage with employers and make local communities aware of the benefits of our service.• Meeting with jobseekers, identifying any challenges and barriers with finding employment• Booking jobseekers to any relevant training courses including customer service, security, hospitality, personal development, IT literacy and many others• Supporting jobseekers with CV writing and job application process• Liaising with employers to identify any employment opportunities for the jobseekers• Outreach work – promoting Reed in Partnership within the local community

Responsible for managing, motivating and continually developing my store team, ensuring my team is passionate about what they do and can hit their sales targets and deliver great service in a fast-paced environment. I have to be a talented leader and communicator with a keen attention to detail, I am ultimately responsible to deliver strategy and build a long-term, sustainable sales model.

Taking on a lead role within the store, I had to motivate and inspire a team of people who are passionate about what they do and always provide a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. As Deputy Manager, I had to make sure they hit sales targets by identifying new sales opportunities and helping them to help our customers.

Leading from the front, my energy and enthusiasm had to engage and motivate everyone, as I worked alongside the store manager to inspire a top-notch retail team. My team would look to me for guidance and to help develop their talents, and help everybody in the team to be more. Making sure they love coming to work, to keep every aspect of our store running like clockwork.
