I have managed a broad portfolio of pubs, restaurants and bars in the years working as both an Area and Regional Operations Manager. I currently hold the position of Operations Manager for Mitchell’s and Butler’s, leading 7 Area Manager's in the Northern part of the Sizzling brand.As an Area Manager I led 4 successful areas, spanning across 8 years both for Marston’s and Mitchells and Butlers. In September 2019 I was promoted into an Operations Manager role, leading 6 Area Managers in running the northern half of the Harvester brand which includes 75 sites from South Wales to Aberdeen with a turnover of over £100 million a year. I have achieved success through a strong ethic of demonstrating and supporting leadership values, promoting self empowerment and driving a commercial, guest, people and profit focussed agenda. I have also developed and introduced new working practices that have enabled me to manage areas/regions of businesses stretching over large geographical areas, seeking to develop self sufficient teams that are both supported and challenged to be the best they can be. My core value is based on leadership and respect. I believe in treating people fairly and gaining respect though building strong business relationships with a commitment to developing my team and leading by example at all times.
