Kyle is the co-founder and Director of Intelligence for Terriscope - an app and web-based platform providing fast-time open-source intelligence and security analysis of potential and confirmed terrorist attacks. Prior to creating Terriscope, Kyle served 16 years in the Metropolitan Police, London. During his service, he spent over a decade specialised in the field of counter terrorism at New Scotland Yard, undertaking roles in protective security, threat assessment and intelligence, as well as digital innovations. In addition to his operational experience, Kyle has attained several academic qualifications in counter terrorism - including a Masters degree in Terrorism and Political Violence from the University of St. Andrews. As a subject-matter expert, Kyle is also an established counter terrorism lecturer – providing regular lectures for policing organisations and universities across the globe, including the University of West London, Arden University, Canterbury Christ Church, and IBZ Gimborn. He is an Associate Editor for the LPC Journal of Policing & Crime, and his educating experience and expertise also extends to the development and use of Virtual Reality technology for training, for which he is currently a PhD candidate.
