Working at The American School in Switzerland as a counselor in the summer program, I was primarily responsible for the non-educational aspects of the program. This involved working alongside a team to both plan and actualize events and excursions for students. Additionally, I held the role of a supervisor, living alongside the students I would direct them throughout their time in the dorms. I also assumed responsibility for the students when they were led on overnight trips by acting as a guide and the team leader being responsible for all the spending and booking associated with the trip to ensure they had a safe and memorable time.

Working at the poolside cafe I held two responsibilities, primarily I would take orders and wait on customers. However, I was additionally responsible for safety and first aid, as working alongside a pool in a wet environment led to unique challenges.
