Here I have reached a great milestone in my career, through persistence and a great deal of dedication, I was promoted to Senior Network Engineer. This was one of my biggest current goals, achieved earlier than I thought possible. It is truly an honor to be able to continue bringing out the potential in my fellow peers and assisting with honing their skills and in turn making myself a better and more accomplished engineer. I have also completed my succession plan and thus I am officially recognized as the "Second In Command" to my Line Manager. This on its own also further progressed my managing skills and helps me with being able to help other eager engineers on their path of progressing their careers. I take great pride and a sense of job satisfaction being in a position to motivate my team to better their skills.

This is where I took a massive undertaking and turn in my career and decided to move into IT as a Network Engineer at Logicalis SA. Since I have started here I have further honed my communication skills and workload managing skills. I was also selected to be part of the succession plan to my Line Manager as well as gained so much knowledge on networking technology and operations.After starting in this industry I have met amazing engineers which motivates me to strive to be better and become more accomplished as an engineer. I have proceeded to train and help my fellow peers with honing their skills to become better engineers themselves.

After honing my technical skills, I was recognized by other Firms such as SS Architecture and was offered a position as an Architectural Technician, where I gained a lot of knowledge on Architecture Administration on council forms , Council submission and The 6 Work Stages of Architecture. This is where I was more involved with decision making and managing my own projects and honing my workload managing, administration and more in-depth technical knowledge with site inspections, snagging etc.

With the Exposure gained from the Freelancing, I was offered a job as a Draftsman at Van Heerden Architecture, shortly after my studies to do my Practical Year as well as work full-time. This is where I gained most of my Technical Knowledge and honed my drawing skills and client communication skills with countless site visits and client design sessions.
