I am a Registered Nurse, with over nine years of post-registration experience and a demonstrated history of working in dynamic oncology and haemato-oncology specialist day units, as well as an specialist HIV and related haemato-oncology ward. Having worked 9+ years in this specialty area, I have gained a great deal of insight and experience in nursing and managing complex oncology, haemato-oncology and HIV patients. I have undertaken post-registration academic studies to help me deliver evidence based care to this group of patients, including; the HIV Care course at Kings College London and the Chemotherapy in Cancer Care course and the Principles of Haemato-oncology Care at The Royal Marsden. I have also been able to work closely with a range of professional specialists to provide holistic and high standards of care which has enabled me to develop excellent communication skills and provided a background in which I am able to utilise my knowledge and experience to make valuable contributions to the care and treatment plans of each patient.I am always seeking ways to apply my skills in new and challenging roles through agency work & permanent roles.
