As a laborer I worked alongside coworkers to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on multiple job-sites. Work involved general labor as well as problem solving in order to determine the best solution to different construction challenges.

I assisted a crew of electricians in installing commercial fire alarm systems and key card security systems. My duties included maintaining a diverse inventory of items; delivering required materials to multiple job sites throughout the Portland metro area; and assisting electricians on site as needed.

As a server at Pounders Restaurant in the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii's number one paid attraction, I catered to the needs of eight to ten tables at a time, providing efficient and friendly customer service. Coworkers and managers liked working with me because I was dependable and I cared for the needs of the customers as well my coworkers. The quality of work provided is evident in the fact that I consistently held the highest average tip percentage out of all employees during my time there.
