GIS-Organized, planned and developed GIS infrastructure within company dynamic. Performed GIS analysis with data collected from Trimble sub-meter GPS unit & Nikon Total Station to delineate proposed watershed project restoration sites, including potential areas of stream and wetland restoration and riparian buffer enhancement.-Performed site selections including restoration and preservation sites according to designated criteria from GIS analysis. -Performed GIS analysis using an array of datasets to determine land use conditions and preservation potentials.-Conducted in-depth river corridor and watershed assessments using GIS analysis to locate restoration and conservation areas.Geographer-Project leader for NC EEP monitoring project (9 total restoration sites) including detailed project planning, timing, project task list organization, as well as data collection, management and reporting.-Construction management during construction of stream restoration (Snow Creek, Stokes County).-Performed USGS gauge station and reference reach geomorphic stream feature surveys using Nikon total station and SMI survey software.-Assisted in design of stream restoration projects including radius of curvature and placement of stream structures as well as erosion control and stabilization of stream projects.-Conducted David Rosgen Level 2 classifications and Level 3 assessments in stream restorations on impaired reaches of streams for North Carolina Wetland Restoration Project (WRP) and Environmental Enhancement Program (EEP).-Assisted in watershed assessments detailing CWP, USA and USSR field collection methodologies.-Prepared construction site plans and details using Auto CAD and GIS.-Conducted largest NC benthic macro-invertebrate sampling and collection on 7 stream locations using NCDWQ's Benthic Certification.
