Mosaic is a premier college program for students with Autism at UTC. Students in the program undergo weekly coaching, study-hours, one-on-one mentoring, and a credit-bearing curriculum that focuses on dispelling misconceptions of autism, as well as life/career skills.My role as career coordinator is to work with the Junior and Senior students on fine-tuning professionalism, and refining career aspirations. It is my responsibility to teach the Junior and Senior level courses, which deal more heavily with career skills. Additionally, I act as the program's liaison to local businesses, networking and establishing partners to provide internships/job offers to the students.Public Events I plan and execute annually include: Reverse Career Fair (every March), Lunch & Learns (Summer & Fall), and a Morning Networking Mixer (every November). I also create and deliver a series of professional workshops exclusively for our students each semester.
