I am a junior with a strong academic background, maintaining a 3.8 GPA and consistently making the Dean's List each semester. My passion for mechanical engineering was ignited during high school, where I immersed myself in various fabrication projects in the metal shop. Notable among these projects is a customized go-cart with CAD-designed components fabricated using a plasma cutter, welding, and lathe work. I also engineered a full suspension system for my truck and crafted custom bumpers utilizing a tube bender. These projects not only demonstrated my ability to design practical, real-life products but also showcased my proficiency in efficient manufacturing processes.Currently, I am a Test Engineer Intern at ECCO Safety Group, where I contribute to rigorous product testing and help ensure the quality of cutting-edge safety solutions. I conduct endurance, corrosion, IP, and SAE certification tests for alarms, beacons, sirens, and lights. My role involves performing rigorous testing under extreme environmental conditions to ensure product reliability and durability. I have also gained hands-on experience with advanced testing equipment and procedures, contributing to the improvement of product designs and the validation of safety standards. This internship has further developed my problem-solving abilities and deepened my understanding of engineering principles in real-world applications. Additionally, this internship has deepened my knowledge of writing technical reports and communicating effectively within business environments, ensuring accurate documentation and clear collaboration across teams.
