I was promoted to Shift Lead shortly after being hired in Muncie, IN. After moving back to Greenfield in December of 2014 to finish my Spring semester internship, I was hired at a Greenfield, IN location as a shift lead. My responsibilities included directing adjustments to food prep to meet fluctuating demands with new menu items while maintaining store profitability, delegating tasks among the team, coaching team members to exceed company standards with verbal and written evaluations, settling daily sales and cash deposits, providing occasional hands-on training, delivering exceptional customer service, and resolving customer grievances in anyway possible.

I worked as a Team Member for a location in Greenfield, IN while I attended Greenfield-Central High School. I also worked there during Spring and Winter breaks while I attended Ball State University. Responsibilities included prepping hot and cold food ingredients, preparing and serving food items to the customer’s exact specifications, cash accountability, and delivering exceptional customer service.

I interned for 40hrs/week every week from January 2015 to May 2015. I worked at various places within the department including the Jail Division, Henry County patrol, PACE Team (Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement), and the Criminal Investigations Divisions. My duties in the Jail Division included booking new inmates (getting all of their information, fingerprinting, logging their property, and assigning them a cell block), passing out meals, aiding the nurse in passing out medicine, and doing an inmate count log every hour. My duties with patrol included assisting the patrol officer in any way possible (going to calls, collecting and logging information, and having the officer's back in general). My duties with the PACE Team (The focus of this Task Force is to patrol the 62 mile stretch of Interstate 70 in Henry, Wayne and Hancock Counties in an attempt to apprehend individuals who are committing felonies, such as drug trafficking, and other criminal offenses along this area of highway) included assisting the team in scouting for potential criminals and collecting information from the suspects. My duties with the Criminal Investigations Division included assisting investigators in serving search warrants and collecting any important information about the search and/or seizures. I put everything I had learned in the classroom to work in real life situations and did myself to learn everything I could as well as be as much use as I possibly could to the department in which I served.
