After high school, I spent four years with the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter. It is here I developed my "no quit" attitude and work ethic. I also developed my leadership skills and the ability to be adaptive and work under pressure. From there I began working in start-ups and non-profits. First was a leadership role at Lanna Coffee Co, a coffee roaster based in Fresno, CA where we brought business and philanthropy together in an effort to improve the lives of villagers in Northern Thailand. Those experiences translated into my next role as the Director or Operations for the Firearms Policy Coalition. As an organization we used grassroots fundraising and content marketing to raise funds to support organizational efforts. In early 2016 I took the skills I had developed home to my Tribe in Southern Oregon to work as a Project Manager. There I work in there Business Development Department and lead and assist in many aspects economic development including the start, growth and acquisition of businesses all in an effort to improve the economic output of the Tribe.
