Set up topic lists and schedule and had the engineers disseminate what they learned to the entire team.- Component Lead responsible for a new product; Roadmap & resource planning for 50 matrixed across US, Germany, India; Utilized daily scrums to ensure proper progress and to expedite any training or help needed; Managed risk identification & mitigation. - Lead a 3G Data Card project(50 engineers) which entered into a new product category; managed the overall project schedule, resource plan, risk identification/mitigation, and coordination of a cross functional team from initial project concept thru customer delivery. Reduced MTBF by 98% by initial product delivery. Patent scrubs.- Managed multiple 3rd party vendors beginning with the SOW(Statement of Work) and proceeding thru achieving KPIs(key performance indicators) and product delivery.- Implemented a software multiplexer that was responsible for IPC(Inter Process Communication)(3 engineers). It hid whether each peer was on the same processor or not. It also abstracted what the underlying transport mechanism was. Created a log analysis tool that was repurposed and leveraged as a major debugging tool on several products for system wide understanding and debugging of issues.- Responsible for people management of 8 direct engineers, including coaching/mentoring, evaluation, feedback, & rewards planning.

- Responsible for Roadmap Planning of the Data features in the 3G protocol stack.- Thru a new matrixed organization(5 direct, 12 matrixed), managed the estimation, planning, design, coding, and integration of various Data features of the GPRS & 3G protocol stack across US, India, France.- Responsible for identifying risks and their corresponding mitigation.- Responsible for the testing of the Data features. This included new test creation, sourcing new simulator equipment required, and maintaining existing tests and test systems. Started use of requirement to test case traceability matrix.- Utilized continuous process improvement thru RCA(root cause analysis) and DEA(defect escape analysis).- Responsible for people management of 5 direct engineers, including coaching, mentoring, evaluation, feedback.

- Managed the requirements, estimations, design, coding, and integration of the LLC & RLC components of the GPRS & 3G protocol stack.- Defined build plans; executed builds; trained others; created a tool to make the build process more efficient by finding and fixing issues before they were submitted to the build.- Supported InterOperability Testing(IOT)with the various network vendors since the technology was previously untested.- Went to H3G England numerous times to support initial technology development, as well as product commercializations.- Created a tool that all engineers could use to inject messages into the system as a type of debugging and rapid prototyping tool.- Helped continue to ramp up the 2 new development teams in India and France.
