I endured one of the Department of Defenses' most selective Special Operations selection phases, surviving the 85% dropout rate, spanning three years, all to becoming a Pararescueman. Pararescuemen's motto: "That Others May Live." For over 19 years, I have deployed eleven times, spanning 1,400 days in direct combat. During this time, I have conducted the following:- Two Hostage Rescue missions directed by the President of the United States- I received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in war- I received two Bronze Stars w/Valor, resulting from actions saving 26 lives.- Managed three mass-casualty events, established an improvised medical clinic, and conducted extended critical care to six soldiers, spanning 30 days.When we foster an environment where uncomfortable conversations become comfortable, we succeed in synchronizing chaos into clarity.
