Just recently, I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Majored in Supply Chain Management. Right now, I am looking for a entry level role or internships related to Supply Chain Management to gain more experience in my major. I am a fast learner, I work well under pressure, I am able to work independently, and I am eager to learn new skills that further my personal and professional growth. During my academic journey, I have gained a solid understanding in all supply chain principles including operation processes, process control and planning, enterprise resource planning (SAP), ethics within the field, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables). This knowledge is supported by completing my degree and numerous case study projects I have completed. I also have a working knowledge of accounting, financing, and diversity management from the Sidemen of Business Student Success Standard courses and core academic classes taken at Grand Valley. As for my work experience, working at Grand Valley for 3 years as a Catering Manager I have been recognized numerous of times as employee of the month for my hard work, and I have taken many leadership roles throughout the years. Aramark has taught me many applicable skills for the real world of Supply Chain Management and business-related tasks. I was able to learn how to train groups of individuals, take inventories, and provide a high level of customer service to customers. I was also able to work in a fast-paced environment within a team group setting, effectively communicate and complete operational tasks. For my community, I have been apart of the Seidman Supply Chain Management Association for some time, attending informational meetings with students like myself to get connected with each other to explore up and coming Supply Chain issues and solutions. I also take pride in being a volunteering for the Team Fox in the D - Parkinson's Fundraising Events and the Detroit Soup Kitchen.
