Wedgewire Screen & Pump House UpgradesNYSOGS | January 2021 - PresentInstallation of 4 new cylindrical wedgewire screen systems within the Hudson River and upgrades to the existing Riverfront Pumping Station in Albany, NY. This project consists of riverbed dredging, driving 24 H-pile footers, precasting, floating, and installing two 171-ton concrete manifolds (50'x12'x10') 17-feet below water level, erecting structural steel access walkway, wedgewire screens, and sluice gates, and installing 75 LF of sheet piling, 68 12"-dia buffer piles, and 425 CY of riprap to armor around the new structure. Other work includes but is not limited to 60 MGD capacity bypass pumping system, turbidity curtain system, removing a large concrete foundation from the riverbed, replacement of pumping station traveling bar and water screens, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, and fenced-in access around the new walkway platform.Rehabilitation of Rt 140 Bridge over Albany Rail Trail & Washington Ave Ext. over Fuller Road Alt.NYSDOT | April 2020 – December 2020Rehabilitation of two multi-span NYSDOT bridges in Albany, NY. This project consisted of removing and replacing superstructure bridge joints with High-Early Strength (HES) concrete and Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), structural lifting and bearing replacements at 146 bearing points, substructure pier Class D replacements, structural steel repairs, structural steel painting, and maintenance and protection of traffic. Other work included but is not limited to construction of a new dynamic message sign on I-87 Northbound, epoxy deck overlays, swale reconstruction, guardrail replacements, substructure asbestos removals, and bridge snow fence.

Rehabilitation of I-787 South Mall Arterial RampsNYSDOT | December 2018 – April 2020Rehabilitation of two NYSDOT bridges and full-depth replacement of one NYSDOT ramp at the South Mall Arterial in Albany County (City of Albany). The multiple construction stages of this project consisted of removing and replacing approximately 500 CY of concrete roadway slabs, pedestals, and joints by hand, removing 17 steel bridge joint systems and replacing with new modular elastomeric bridge joint systems, placing 215 SY of high strength accelerated concrete, 66,800 SF of concrete milling and placing of a PPC bridge surface overlay, structural lifting and replacing 97 bridge bearings, fabrication and installation of 58 bolsters and 54 various structural steel repairs, 1500 SF of substructure concrete repairs, and extensive maintenance and protection of traffic closure packages. Other work included but is not limited to lead paint abatement, bridge steel painting, nighttime work operations, 500 CY of full depth concrete slab removal, paving 1,000 tons of asphalt, installation of 289 LF of compression seal for joints, bridge scupper replacements, and various associated concrete rehabilitations. Bridge over the Wallkill RiverAmy's Kitchen | June 2018 - May 2019Construction of a new 115 ft long, pony-truss bridge over the Wallkill River in the Town of Goshen, NY. This project consisted of installing of temporary sheet pile cofferdams, driving 65 ft long steel H-piles into bedrock, construction of new concrete abutments, assembly and erection of the superstructure truss bridge and cantilevered sidewalk system, construction of a new concrete bridge deck, and construction of new concrete approach slabs. Other work includes but is not limited to installing riprap scour protection, construction of new pedestrian sidewalk and handrail system, construction of new vehicular bridge rail system, and various associated earthwork and restoration.
