Daily responsibilities vary based on role. Grill/fryer: cooking, toasting, assembling of breakfast and lunch bagels/sandwiches/wraps with use of a flat-top grill and toaster. Fryer items include hand breaded and prepared shrimp, chicken, and fish, French fries, home fries, and hash brown patties. Deli: serving up of hot and cold bagels and wraps with use of a toaster and broiler- assortment of cream cheeses, ham, turkey, smoked salmon, hummus, whitefish, chicken/tuna/shrimp salads.

Primary duties included: strong customer service focus, efficient and accurate delivery of customer orders, placing orders over the counter/phone, handling of cash and cards, POS input, food prep, store closing duties. Additional duties were: working the make-line where menu items are to be quickly and accurately built for oven cooking, working the cut table where foods are removed from the oven after-bake and placed in pre-labeled boxes and cut/sauced to customer specifications.

As a cook at The Carving Board Cafe, my responsibilities include: the cooking of our meats, soups, and side dishes, prepping for and keeping our make-line fully stocked, and breaking down and cleaning after our service hours.

My main responsibilities are to place and deliver all food delivery and to-go orders, run food for our waiters and waitresses to our dining room and bar seating. My secondary responsibilities can include helping the waitstaff with their side work, and help with setting-up and breaking-down of an event.

Check-in, pull, and price merchandise, ring up customers, maintain a high level of cleanliness on the sales floor as well as with the warehouse space, and assist customers with any related questions, comments, or concerns.
