I was the lead contact between technicians and the engineering team to help simplify the assembly process, educating the team on issues during the build. Major focus was assembly process and ergonomics of the process for future production planning.Composed and presented monthly “Safety Talk” meetings regarding safety issues/topics to the employees. Topics were then posted on Safety Board for review. I was responsible for our 180,000 sq. ft. facility making sure all the safety areas were properly marked and procedures were taught across the organization. Lead contact for managing safety materials to vendors to ensure our standards were met on appropriate materials. Managed documentation showing regularity of Fire Drill/Tornado Drills as well as the documentation of all fire extinguisher inspections. Documented all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and presented to the executive board on a monthly basis.
