Worked for DeSilva Gate's paving and grading subsidiary, Gallagher & Burk, in Oakland, CA. Assisted on multiple projects, including a $17 million job for the Port of Oakland's Maritime division; a yard and gate redevelopment for berths 30-33. Additional projects included street overlays in the City of Alameda and the City of Berkeley, as well as the repaving of a taxiway at the Oakland Airport. Daily tasks included drafting submittals and transmittals and minor take-offs and estimations, with some on-site supervising.
