Qa Automation Engineer/ Release ManagerRefijet Aug 2021 - Feb 2023Greenwood Village, Colorado, UsI worked in the fintech industry to create smoke, regression, and functional tests using cypress as well as working on the cadence of when these tests will be ran. I created the automation framework from scratch using the same language. Partnered with the DevOps team to get these tests in the CI/CD pipeline. I used Postman to create a backend smoke test that runs in the CI/CD pipeline that runs when new code is pushed for specific projects. I am currently working with AWS cognito to validate that the list of users and then validate that they are appearing in company websites as credentialed users. I used Gatling to create load testing and performance testing to validate that we are able to handle the amount of users in the system. I also performed light sql work in the database to validate that data has been saved properly as well as updating and deleting records when needed. -
Software Development Engineer TestTeliax, Inc Aug 2020 - Jul 2021Denver, Colorado, UsI worked with multiple tools to facilitate multiple levels of testing new and existing code. I used postman api calls with a cicd pipeline in docker to run a nightly test validating the system. I worked with IT OPS to get this postman api in a CICD pipeline that runs nightly. I review these tests often to validate that the tests are running as expected. When tests fail, I reviewed results to validate whether it is a coding problem or if there is an API problem and work to correct the issue. Next I worked cypress tests to run against the UI of different programs in the company.. This includes creating the framework for testing and breaking the different tests down to regression, smoke, and facility tests. These tests are being ran against a weekly cicd pipeline also housed in a docker. Additional testing strategies and tools will be learned and implemented as the need arises. I am currently studying Javascript to aid with the more complicated tests. I have helped to get all cicd results saved into QASE repositories so that we are able to track the results of tests and perform maintenance on tests as needed. I championed getting QASE as our main test repository as it was the one that best fit the company needs. I also worked with our Software Manager to determine and provide input on all QA needs including software. -

I use ALM to coordinate a plan of test execution for each phase of the SDLC. ALM is also used for the initial documentation of any software defects that are found during testing. Any additional updates are added through JIRA. My work includes the use of an agile environment and bi-weekly sprints to plan the creation and maintenance of automation scripts. This process is tracked through JIRA as well. I have been allowed to maintain JIRA dashboards to keep track of the process for these sprints and provide a report to management of current progress.I have created python based automation scripts to test through the use of a Squish IDE. Each script created was loaded to a Stash Server through the use of GIT. -
