For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Texas First Responder, a role that has shaped my life and allowed me to safeguard the community I hold dear. My career began as a Firefighter/EMT, where I quickly learned the value of teamwork and the critical nature of our mission.As I progressed to become a Fire Instructor and then a Fire Investigator/Inspector, I deepened my understanding of fire safety and prevention, sharing this knowledge to protect others. Leadership roles as a Fire Company Officer and a decade as Chief of Police taught me the importance of guidance and community trust.Now, with the Forney Fire Department, I continue to serve with the same passion and commitment that has driven me for three decades. This journey has been more than a career—it’s been a life dedicated to service, filled with invaluable experiences and the honor of working alongside fellow first responders. My heart is full of gratitude for every moment of service and the difference we’ve made together.
