REU Site: Solving Societal Grand Challenges with Electrical and Computer EngineeringNational Science Foundation- Led an individual project and presented a research poster at the University of Delaware Undergraduate Research Summer Symposium- Designed and fabricated electromagnetic components using 3D printing and silicone molding to provide sensing and actuation capabilities to a soft robot- Conducted experiments and modeled data using MATLAB to characterize liquid metal inductors- Worked independently to set goals and oversee the completion of the project

• Managed independent projects in bio-inspired robotics in collaboration with graduate students• Designed an on-board power supply utilizing Arduino software and microcontrollers to provide modularity and autonomy to a hybrid soft-legged robot• Enhanced robot motion with servomotor systems via CAD and 3D printing• Gained academic writing experience through drafting research documents while presenting projects to field experts and gaining feedback for future research
