Project Engineer at the Perth Children's Hospital, a 1.2$ billion dollar project. The PCH project involves the design and construction of a state of the art tertiary paediatric hospital at the QEll medical centre site in Perth, Western Australia.Some key features:- 298 beds- Increase from 17 to 31 isolation rooms- Increased out patient and day-stay capacity- Integrated research and education facility/staff lounge- Integrated family resource centre/parent lounges on every floor/dedicated parent accommodation suite- Increase from six theatres and two procedure rooms to 12 multi-use theatres including an intra-operative MRI and two interventional theatres- A 10 bed high dependency unit- Child-care facility with up to 80 places for children of shift-workers, siblings of children who are ill and children who have complex care needs- Aboriginal Resource Area- Increased outpatient facilities- Increased staff amenities such as bike racks and showers- Helicopter landing pad for the QEII campus- Centralised Sterilising Unit for the QEII campus- The first single state inpatient mental health unit for under 16s- Automatically Guided Vehicles (AGVs)- 3500m2 of green space including roof gardens- Three retail food locations

Worked within the Perth City Link Rail Alliance. Specifically worked on the Pedestrian Underpass Tunnel, Connection to the existing Perth Underground Tunnel, Platform Demolition and Reconstruction, track slab construction, Pier Protection of the historic Horse Shoe Bridge, Underpinning the heritage listed Perth Railway Station Building, and the temporary/permanent road works on Wellington Street. The projects value was 360 million dollars. It was finished 6 months ahead of program and under budget.

Worked on the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre. I was involved with bulk earthworks, in-ground services, construction of steel structures, concrete works, and roads throughout the project. Specifically, I was solely responsible for the residential units and waste water treatment plant area of the project and dealt with the engineering issues within these areas. The projects value was 125 million dollars.

Project management responsibilities including management of safety, program, quality, and cost. Responsible for the day to day running of the project using management processes and procedures to ensure the successful completion of the project on time and on budget. Performed analysis and design for a variety of structures, reinforced concrete, and wood and masonry projects both commercial and residential. Furthermore, responsible for generating fee proposals, scheduling, conceptual design development with client through construction drawing completion, permitting, construction administration, and field inspection.

Civil engineering intern for the Waukesha County Department of Public Works and my responsibilities included:- Rural road and highway construction inspections, - Culvert/bridge inspections, - Survey Set-out & GPS locating,- Set-out of utilities and storm water management systems,- Intersection traffic counts, layout of automatic counters, review and analyzing ADT reports,- Preparing data and spreadsheets for intersections and roadways,- Filing intersection/rural highway plans and other clerical work. - Using AutoCAD, designed storm water drainage, sanitary sewers, and water lines for both commercial and residential site developments.

- Experience in the complete construction process of residential buildings; from site layout through all facets of construction to homeowner final walk through. - Responsibilities included permit application, site layout, project estimation of cost, material and time, and liaison with subcontractors, material suppliers and clients.
